Corrections are useful. If a border requirement has changed, a track is now impassable or a fuel stop no longer exists, send the update and we will verify it.
What happens after you write
Messages reach the editorial team. We read everything and reply within 48 hours on working days. Queries that need research—checking a current visa rule, confirming a ferry schedule—may take a day or two longer.
Cox Morgan Overland publishes guides and background on overland travel. We do not arrange expeditions, book crossings, supply vehicles or offer route-planning services tailored to individual trips. The inbox is for questions about what is already on the site and ideas for what could be added.
Response times
Most replies go out the same day or the next. Complex questions that involve contacting sources or cross-checking multiple route reports take longer. If a week passes without a reply, the message may not have reached us—send it again.
